How to Stay Motivated at the End of the Year
Motivation is a hard thing, that’s for sure.
Yes it is something you feel. But you cannot always sit around and wait for it to show up.
Sometimes you truly have to CREATE it if you want it.
One quick exercise I do to help *create that motivation-momentum* is to:
Start my making a list of my to-do’s for the day
What are my TOP 3 priorities that HAVE to get done
Take just 2-5min and visualize
Let me walk you through this. I really do want you to close your eyes, and envision what it would be like to start your task. How do you want to feel while working on it? What items do you need to do while going through it ? Envision the steps; envision yourself walking through the whole process. Because if you can start to SEE it happen, you can start to FEEL it happen.
Yes, I know this can sound a little *juju* - but if you are struggling with task-initiation (IE, procrastination, avoiding something, etc etc), then truly you need to shake things up and try something new to help you get started!
