Using the Reminders App
My absolute favorite app is literally just the reminders app (for iPhone).
I have created several different lists in there, and they are my daily bread & butter.
For me, my categories include: Today, this week, family, groceries, shopping, etc.
But for you, you might categorize them like: HW, projects, sports, Personal To-do’s, etc.
But how you get GOOD is by practicing daily[ brain dumping into your to-do lists. I live & breathe out of my TODAY list, and that helps guide everything I have to do that day, and trickles down into my week.
I find that the more I practice utilizing these lists, it has also helped strengthen my memory. So when you have that email to send, that HW to run in, or that paper to fill out - instead of writing it on your hand, a sticky note, or just saying “yep, got it!”. Just quickly pull out your phone, & jot it down!
I promise the more you practice this, the more it truly does become a habit, and in turn, continues to reinforce that memory of yours :)
